Cat Cafe's are a thing, and they're awesome! Check these out...

Cat cafes have been around since 1998, but they were only really popular in China until fairly recently.  So for those of you that don't know...a cat cafe is a high end adoption agency for cats.  That's not all it is though, it's so much more.

They are coffee shops where you can visit with the cat residences while you enjoy your time there.  These are perfect for cat lovers that can't take anymore home.  You know you're supporting a great life for these cats until they find forever homes.

While you're there, if you fall in love with a certain kitty, you can adopt it and take it home!

Cat Cafe in San Diego was actually just a shelter until they turned it into a cafe about 2 and half years ago. They're now looking at expanding to help even more cats find forever homes.

I have no idea why it's taken this long for this trend to pick up here. It's the perfect way to get more shelter's out there and a fantastic way to find homes for these sweet animals.

And they also post their cats that are looking for adoption on their site, for little cats like Dodger, this Cat Cafe is the best thing to happen to him.

There's even more than coffee shops.  Some of these cafes, like the Dancing Cat in San Jose that is also a yoga studio.  

Or the Meow Parlor in New York that offers it all <3!
